I am planning on sewing two quick little quilts for my two beautiful nieces for Christmas.
The first one I have just finished is from a free pattern on the internet, 'Scrappy Hunters Star' on Hopeful Homemakers Blog. It's been quick and easy to sew up!

Rolling 'Pebble's'
We're back in South Australia now, the move has been quite draining, the
boxes still aren't all unpacked... But ... I couldn't resist attending a
sewing day run by Wendy Whellum and Mary Rothe. There were 4
patterns that were demonstrated and we could try which ever one took
our fancy. I decided to try Wendy's Rolling Stone block but decided to
make it as a miniature. Wendy's blocks were 15", my blocks were 4 1/2",
much quicker to sew up and very cute!

Segmentation
Just finished quilting my new Jelly Roll pattern called 'Segmentation'.
Years ago I designed some quilts using leftover 2 1/2" squares. This is an adaptation of one of these patterns but much quicker using strip piecing, and cutting.
The Jelly Roll I used was LOL by 'Me and My Sister'

Bluebird Park Bunting
The Bluebird Park Panel can be made into a cute
vintage bunting. Use the large square of feature fabric as backing for
the bunting rectangles.
I sewed this together yesterday - quick and easy!
